At the end of July, we went for a quick trip to Northern Portugal. Our compass was, as usual, set on food. And Portugal plus food often means pastry!
This time, we explored Viana do Castelo’s Confeitaria Natário, which is known for its Bolas de Berlim, cream-filled doughnut. Freshly made, still warm, sweet and tasty just like Portuguese desserts can be. At 80 cents apiece, a treat!
